I would also like to say that the page for Aurora Co. is well organized,
informational, and helpful. I had a chance to look at some other GenWeb
sites and I still think that Aurora County's site is one of the better
organized sources out there. Please keep up the good work! I am only
getting into the family background and I am amazed at what one can find on
the internet. Thanks so much for your efforts in maintaining this database;
I know it is not easy.

John Hanten was my great grandfather. Thank you so much for having this
page. I may be visiting in Mitchell and possibly in White Lake this
summer.

Great-great granddaughter of Nicholas and Anna Mary (Haiser/Heser) Koch. Both emigrated from Germany in the late 1870's. They both died in White Lake, SD. Nicholas in 1899, and Anna in 1886. I have been searching the Aurora Co. site all day. It has been a great help. I just wanted to let you know who I am.

I've been trying to find out anything I could about my family. Never could find out any thing online until I found you. Only I can't figure out why most of my relatives that were born in WhiteLake don't have a place here.
