Services for Mrs. Earl K. Duncan, Lebanon, were held in the First United Methodist Church, Gettysburg, Monday, Aug. 2, at 2:00 p.m. by the Rev. Russell M. Peirce. Interment was at the Gettysburg Cemetery.

Adelle M. Weed was born to Thomas E. and Adelle (Finch) Weed Feb. 15, 1899 at Fairbanks in Sully County. At the age of three, she moved with her parents to Potter County where she lived the major portion of her life. She attended school in Lebanon, Ft. Pierre, McMinnville, Ore. And Aberdeen.

On Jan. 12 1923, she was united in marriage to Earl K. Duncan. To this union, five children were born.

Mrs. Duncan passed away suddenly on July 29 at the Gettysburg Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Earl, sons Robert and Donald, daughters Mrs. John (Marian) Wolter and Mrs. Robert (Audrey) Kenimer, sisters Mrs. Clifford (Florence) Norris and Mrs. Elmer (Marian) Olson, eighteen grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son William, her parents and her brother Frank.

She taught school before her marriage and again after her children were grown. She was a member of the Baptist Church, McMinnville, Ore., Faulkton Chapter of Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Gray Ladies at the Oahe Manor and active in that organization until her death.

And George Trumble of Pierre.
