Urban Henry Mayer was born May 31, 1916, to Joseph P. and Elizabeth (Kurtenbach) Mayer in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. He attended SS Peter and Paul Catholic grade school in Dimock and later graduated from Parkston High School in 1932. He farmed all his life in Hutchinson County. In 1997, he moved to Parkston where he lived until his death. He served on the Hutchinson County ASCS committee as well as the Township Board for many years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and a former member of the Mitchell Moose Lodge. He died Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, at the age of 84 years. He is survived by four sisters, Mildred Adams, Corona, Calif., Rosaline Mayer, Parkston, Cleo Mayer, Oakland, Calif., and Agnes Pape, Armour; one brother, Jerry Mayer and wife, Berniece, Sioux Falls; one sister-in-law, Alma Mayer, LeMars, Iowa; 11 nephews; seven nieces; and numerous great nephews and great nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Norbert Mayer; one sister, Wilhemine Roeder; and a nephew. Clarence J. He farmed with his father for a few years. He married Gladys Boehmer on September 15, 1936, at Parkston. They farmed west of Parkston until retiring into town in 1980. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, He died Monday, Feb. 19, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his wife, Gladys, Parkston; five children, Dennis Koster and wife, Ellen, Klamath Falls, Ore., Roger Koster, ARmour, Gary Koster, Parkston, Diane Breck and husband, Marlin, Sioux Falls, and Linda Kamp and husband, Randy, Edmond, Okla.; two sisters, Viola Jenks, Mitchell, and Florence Nelson and husband, Fred, Klamath Falls, Ore.; one brother, Herbert Koster and wife, Lorraine, Parkston; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Bertha Semmler, 89 September 9, 1911 - March 30, 2001 Funeral services for Bertha Semmler were held Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at the Richland Wesleyan Church, rural Ipswich, with the Rev. Bertha Rosenau was born on September 9, 1911, to Christ and Julianna (Seitz) Rosenau at Parkston. She attended school there. On April 20, 1931, she married Arthur Semmler at Ipswich. They lived in the Roscoe area for several years and then moved to Parkston. In the early 1960's they returned to a farm near Ipswich. He passed away in 1972. She continued to live in Ipswich. She worked as a waitress and also worked at the REA in Ipswich. In 1996, she became a resident at the Beverly Healthcare Nursing Home in Ipswich. She died Friday, March 30, at the age of 89 years. She is survived by one son, Clifford Semmler and wife, Erma, Fairfield, Calif.; one daughter, Norma Schneider, Ipswich; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Olga Semmler, Miller. Esther (Hohn) Mechtenberg, 87 June 27, 1914 - 2001 Esther (Hohn) Mechtenberg was born on June 27, 1914, in Dimock to Ben and Bertha (Oberembt) Hohn. She married Andrew (Doc) Mechtenberg on January 17, 1938. They farmed near Dimock until they moved to Mitchell in November of 1956. Andrew died in May of 1989. She donated 10 years of volunteer service at Avera Hospital in Mitchell before moving to Yankton in May of 1999, where she continued to volunteer at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton. She was a surgical waiting room hostess. She attained the age of 87 years. She is survived by her three children, Shirley (John) Bauman, Bradenton, Fla., Gary Mechtenberg and friend, Jeannie Davis, Burbank, and Glen (Barb) Mechtenberg, Yankton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ann Friedrich, Simi Valley, Calif. Renner of Dimock on June 28, 1947, in San Francisco, Calif. She was a member of the Sodality and a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Council, Knights of Columbus Ladies Angels. She died Friday, Oct. 12, at the Charlestown Retirement Nursing Home. She attained the age of 78 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Renner. Wilmar Zeeb, 79 December 6, 1922 - August 26, 2002 Funeral services for Wilmar J. He lived his life as a farmer in the Menno area. He married Adeline Yonke on August 11, 2000, in Yankton, where he lived until the time of his death. He was a member of Peace Christian Reformed Church where he served on the Church Consistory, was a member of the Gideons, served on the Menno Rural Fire Board and the Lumber Yard Board, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Yankton, in which he was active in the "Over 50's" group. He died Monday, Aug. 26, at the Heart Hospital of South Dakota, Sioux Falls. He attained the age of 79 years. Herman was born in Parkston on May 8, 1936, to Herman Edward Struck, Sr., and Gertrude (Scheetz) Struck. He graduated from Delmont High School and South State Technical School. He married Norma Peters in June of 1955. She preceded him in death in November, 1980. He was employed at Wudel's Chevrolet in Armour until they opened Herm's TV and Decorating. He and his family moved to Denver in 1968 at which time he went to work in the automotive industry. He married Roene Renshaw (Blume) in August 1981. They moved to Anaheim, Calif., in December of 1981, at which time he went to work for Mazda, Inc. He was also in real estate sates. In September of 1992 they moved to Henderson, Nev., where he was again employed in the automotive industry. He was employed with Precision Engine Parts at the time of his death. He died Saturday, Aug. 17, in Henderson, Nev. He attained the age of 66 years. Together they managed a number of restaurants and motels, the last one being the Thunderbird Lodge in Mitchell. In April 1977, they retired and moved into Darlingotn Apartments in Parkston and became a member of Salem Lutheran Church. On July 6, 2001, she moved into Avera Borman Manor. She died Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Avera St. Benedict Hospital, Parkston, at the age of 90 years. He was baptized on May 13, 1917, at Saror Reformed Church southeast of Menno by Pastor Rittershaus. He was confirmed on June 28, 1931, at the Salem Reformed Church in Menno by Pastor John Boneman. He attended the Ulmer School District 91 through the eighth grade. He worked with his father on the family farm and helped care for his younger brothers and sisters. He married Elda Oswald on March 25, 1941, in Rock Rapid, Iowa, by John DeJongh at the Reformed Church. They farmed on the John Bender homestead until 1943. They then moved to a farm northwest of Olivet. In 1980, they retired from farming and moved to Menno. He served on the church board as an elder and served on the school board of Pleasant Hill District 23. He also worked part-time for the Menno Lumber Company. He is survived by his wife, Elda, Menno; two sons, Gary and wife, Carol, Jefferson, and Milo and wife, Debbie, Olivet; four grandchildren, Tonia Monahan,Trista Delperdang, Sandra Schaeffer and Paul Schaeffer; three great-grandchildren, Rayce Monahan, Dalton Monahan, and Caprice Delper-dang; four brothers, Theodore and wife, Mildred, Viborg; Walter Schaeffer, Yankton, Edgar and wife, Donna, Menno, and LeRoy and wife, Nancy, Sioux Falls; four sisters, Alitha Pederson, Yankton, Clara Friezen, Yankton, Freida and husband, Henry Schmichel, Salem, and Arlene and husband, Vern Haase, Scotland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Connie (Salafia) Rieb Connie Rieb (Salafia), adopted daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. William G. Rieb, succumbed to acute respiratory distress syndrome (pneumonia) in Manchester (Hartford), Connecticut, on April 25, 2002, after an illness of six weeks. She grew up in Parkston, graduating from Parkston High School and later from the University of Connecticut. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Her late grandfather, the Reverend Dr. Johnannes Lambertus, pastored in this church for 26 years. She played the organ for church services several years, and she was a member of the church choir and the Luther League. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Little, Manchester; and son, Ton Salafia, South Windsor, Conn.; sister and brother, Marlene and Billy Rieb; niece, Dr. Mona Jeanine Trevillyan; and aunt, Mrs. Gerrie Lambertus. Edward Bialas, 88 March 16, 1915 - September 30, 2003 Funeral services for Edward H. Bialas were held Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at 2 p.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, rural Dimock, with the Rev. David Winterfeldt officiating. Music was furnished by Kent Tecklenburg, organist. Interment was made in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Dimock, with Koehn Bros Funeral Home, Parkston, in charge of arrangements. Bialas was born March 16, 1915, to Ernst and Henrietta (Reichert) Bialas on a farm in Douglas County. He grew up in Douglas County and attended school there. He spent some time in the CCC Camp in the early 1930 s building dams. After his return from the CCC Camp, he began farming until being called to serve in the United States armed forces and serving in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Upon his discharge from the military, he again began farming until retiring in 1988. He died Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Avera Bormann Manor, Parkston, at the age of 88 years. He is survived by two brothes, John Bialas and wife, Anna, Sioux Falls, and Alvin Bialas, Sioux Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters (one in infancy); and seven brothers (three in infancy). Martha (Reiner) Kapfenstein, 92 September 24, 1911 - September 29, 2003 Funeral services for Martha Kapfenstein were held Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Plankinton. Burial was made in the Mizpah Cemetery, Plankinton with Shearer Funeral Home, Plankinton, in charge of arrangements. Martha was born September 24, 1911, in Bon Homme County to Fred and Katherine (Schmidt) Reiner. She was baptized January 28, 1912, and confirmed June 27, 1926, in the Reformed Chuch. She attended country school in Bon Homme County through the eighth grade. She married Arthur Kapfenstein February 28, 1931, at Delmont. They lived in Tripp, Delmont, Lake Andes, Pierre, and Ft. Thompson where Arthur was employed in construction and worked on different Missouri Dam constructions. While in Tripp, she worked at the Tripp Hotel for four years and cleaned houses and the law office. They moved to a farm outside of Plankinton in 1964. Arthur died in 1972 and she moved into Plankinton where she lived until 1999 when she moved into the Tripp Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of St. Paul s Lutheran Church in Plankinton. She died Monday, Sept. 29, at the Tripp Good Samaritan Center, Tripp. She attained the age of 92 years. She is survived by one sister, Beatha Vogt, Parkston; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, her husband, two brothers, and five sisters. Helen (Gehring) Grajkowske, 92 August 17, 1911 - October 1, 2003 Funeral services for Helen M. Gladys Heidner was born December 12, 1906, to Adam and Elizabeth (Meister) Werkmeister at Wall Lake, Iowa. She was baptized on January 2, 1907, with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Werkmeister serving as sponsors. She was confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Armour, on April 13, 1925. She married George Heidner on December 22, 1928, at Mitchell. George died December 26, 1967. She died Sunday, Sept. 21, at her home in Parkston at the age of 96 years. She is survived by one sister, Elsie Kietzmann, Armour; three brothers, Elmer Werkmeister and wife, Ileen, Armour, Leroy Werkmeister and wife, Verna, Armour, and Leonard Werkmeister and wife, Sylvia, Armour; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; one step-daughter, Bertha Bainbridge; three sisters, Mary Werkmeister, Maggie Roth, and Clara Kietzmann; and three brothers, Arthur Werkmeister, Walter Werkmeister, and Louie Werkmeister. LaVerne (Koth) Bastone, 82 May 13, 1921 - September 9, 2003 Funeral services for LaVerne Koth Bastone, La Crescenta, Calif., were held September 15 at the San Fernando Mission Chapel with interment at the adjoining cemetery. LaVerne Koth was born May 13, 1921, to Sam and Anna (Goerhing) Koth on a farm west of Tripp where she grew up and attended rural school and high school in Tripp. She attended college at Southern State, Springfield. She taught school for several years before moving to Rapid City to work at the Air Base. She married Lou Bastone on September 14, 1944, in Rapid City. They made their home in Long Island, N.Y. for 14 years before moving to Glendale, Calif. She died September 9 at Sumerhill Villa, Valencia, Calif. She attained the age of 82 years. She is survived by three children, Dan (Lynn) Bastone, Patricia (Seal) Bastone, Michael (Pam) Bastone, all of Calif.; one brother, Elmer Koth, Tripp; three sisters, Ruby Hicks and Norma Tatman, both of Tripp, and Arvilla (Ralph) Perkinson, Virginia Beach, Va.; four grandchildren, Ryan (Kami) Seal, Seattle, Wash., Colleen Seal, Vista, Calif., Matt Bastone and Nick Bastone, both of Valencia, Calif.; also many friends and relatives. She attended the Hoff Country School north of Tyndall. She was united in marriage to Erwin Hoff on April 24, 1937, in Tripp. They farmed seven miles southwest of Tripp for many years. She ran a lunch counter at the Hutchinson County Fairgrounds in Tripp for many years. She was choir director for the Emanuel Reformed Church for several years. She died on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Menno-Olivet Care Center in Menno at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her husband, Erwin Hoff, Menno-Olivet Care Center and formerly of Tripp; two sons, Harlan (Maedora) Hoff, Canton, and Jerome (Rita) Hoff, Menno; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Alvina Schneider, Tyndall; and one brother, Bernhard Winckler, Tyndall. They farmed in Bon Homme County near Scotland and later in Hutchinson County near Tripp until retiring to Scotland in 1972. She died on Friday, Nov. 28, at the Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital, Scotland, at the age of 91 years. Jeanne (Reichert) Brown, 79 August 8, 1924 - March 15, 2004 Jeanne Marie Brown was born August 8, 1924, in Tyndall, to Frederick Oliver Reichert and Loretta Sophia Reichert. She married her high school sweetheart, John (Jack) Albert Brown on June 24, 1944, in South Carolina, during World War II. She was a long time resident of Duluth. She died Monday, March 15, at the age of 79 years. William Plamp, 59 April 26, 1944 - March 17, 2004 Memorial services for William (Bill) Plamp will be held Saturday, April 24, 2004, at 10 a.m., at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Forest Lake, Minn. Elmer Allmendinger, 75 February 23, 1929 - March 21, 2004 Funeral services for Elmer Allmendinger were held Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sioux Falls. He was born February 23, 1929, in Tripp to William and Rosina (Stoebner) Allmendinger. He married Inez Baumiller on March 12, 1950. The couple lived in the Tripp/Parkston area for many years where Elmer farmed and worked at various service stations. The family moved to Sioux Falls in the late 1950s. Elmer cleaned and installed carpet and began working in the sanitation business. In the early 1970s, they moved to Beresford where he continued in the sanitation business and was later employed at Woodfield Center until his retirement. Inez passed away in May of 1998. Elmer continued to live in Beresford until moving to Galena, Mo., where he has resided until the present time. He died March 21 at the Sioux Valley Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls at the age of 75 years. Raymond Beiswanger, 75 January 9, 1929 - July 11, 2004 Funeral services for Raymond Beiswanger were held Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at 11 a.m., at Tonseth Lutheran Church, rural Erhard, with the Rev. Raymond was born on January 9, 1929, in Parkston, the son of Clarence and Justina (Wentzel) Beiswanger of German heritage. He graduated from Parkston High School in 1947. From June of 1952 to April of 1953, he served his country overseas in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On September 13, 1953, he married Donna Lou Rorvig at Cyrus Lutheran Church in Cyrus. The couple farmed for nine years in South Dakota before moving to Starbuck and then to Jamestown, N.D. where they lived for 34 years. He worked as a carpenter and also worked at the Wilbert Vault Company in Jamestown and Morris for 20 years. In 1998, they retired to Fergus Falls. He most recently became a resident of the Minnesota Veterans Home in Fergus Falls. He was a member of Tonseth Lutheran Church, rural Erhard. He previously served in Parkston as a Sunday School teacher and on the church council and was also a member of the Eagles. He served on the honor guard. He died Sunday, July 11, at the Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls. He attained the age of 75 years. Calvin Schultz, 78 June 12, 1926 - July 11, 2004 Funeral services for Calvin Schultz were held Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at 10:30 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mitchell. Burial was made in the Graceland Cemetery with Will Funeral Chapel, Mitchell, in charge of arrangements. Calvin Emil Schultz was born in Douglas County on June 12, 1926, to Emil and Emma (Moege) Schultz. At six months of age, he moved with his family to a Davison County farm southwest of Mitchell. In 1928, polio struck Cal, but he helped with the farm, despite his disability. He graduated from Ethan High School in 1946, and attended art school in Omaha, Neb., for two years. He taught at Father Flanagan s Boys Town in Omaha and at St. Paul s Indian Mission at Marty. He graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell in 1957 and founded the art department at the State Training School in Plankinton. He married Ida Pfisher on August 11, 1961, at Mitchell. In 1965, he began teaching art in the Mitchell Public Schools and continued to do so until 1983, when post-polio syndrome affected his mobility. For 25 years, he designed the murals for the Corn Palace. He also designed logos, contributed his art to fundraisers, and exhibited his work at the Oscar Howar Art Center. He died Sunday, July 11, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell, at the age of 78 years. He is survived by a son, Stephen Nicolaisen and wife, Charlotte, Mitchell; daughter Paula Guhin and husband, David, Aberdeen; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the United States Army during World War II from March 27, 1942 to November 15, 1945. He married Esther Schwaderer on August 31, 1947, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Delmont. He farmed the family homestead until his retirement to Florida in 1975, where he and his wife wintered for 25 years. They moved back to Avon in 2000. He was baptized at the Danzig Baptist Church in 1950 and was a member, serving as an usher and trustee. He was also a member of the Jelkin-Harms American Legion Post 142 of Tripp. He died Saturday, July 10, at his daughter s home in Harrisburg. He attained the age of 87 years and two days. Lothar Theodore Maag was born on September 7, 1927, on the family farm in Hutchinson County in South Dakota. His parents were Theodore and Emma (Mayer) Maag. He was baptized and confirmed at the United Church of Christ in Tripp. He married Juanita Weisz on June 7, 1953, at Tripp, where they farmed all their married lives. He attended Maag School District #81 until the eighth grade and later attended Tripp High School, graduating in 1945. He served in the Army from 1950-1952 in the 549th Army Engineers and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Tripp, and was a member of the Jelkin-Harms American Legion Post #142 in Tripp for 51 years. He served on the church consistory, the township board, the Maag District #81 school board, and the boards of Tripp Farmers Lumber and the Farmers Union Oil Company. He died Friday, July 16, at his home in Tripp after a struggle against cancer. He attained the age of 76 years. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; five children, Terry Maag and wife, Hope, Tripp, Cheryl (Maag) Coyle and husband, Mike, Springfield, Karen (Maag) Froehlich and husband, Francis, Tripp, Kenneth Maag, Springfield, and Todd Maag,Tripp; six grandchildren, Chad and wife, JoEllen, Brett, Jenna, Sara, Brittany and Emma; and a sister, Luella (Maag) Sprecher, Sioux Falls. She married Kenneth G. Klatt on June 18, 1937, at the Klatt family home in Tripp. She was active in the Tripp community and a life long member of the United Methodist Church. She died on Saturday, July 17, at the Tripp Good Samaritan Center at the age of 89 years. She is survived by three children, Rand and wife, Bonita, Sioux Falls, Jon and wife Mary Catherine of Tripp, and Jill Lyon's and husband Ed, of Aurora, Co.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She attended elementary school and graduated from high school at Buffalo, Okla. She graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State College, Weatherford, Okla., with a degree in musical therapy. She completed her musical therapy internship at Ft. Logan Mental Institution, Denver, Colo. After her internship she went to work at Oregon State Mental Institution, Salem, Ore. She worked at the institution for several years. She graduated from Chemawa Community College, Salem, Ore., as a registered nurse. She worked in several hospitals as a nurse until her health problems occurred. She was active with the youth group at Capital Park Wesleyan Church organizing religious retreats in the United States and Mexico. She died Sunday, Sept. 5, at Salem, Ore. She attained the age of 42 years. Geraldine was born January 23, 1917, in Tripp to Frederich A. and Maria Schmiedt. She lived in Mariemont and Madison Place for many years until she and her husband, Frank, retired to Pasco County, Fla., returning to Cincinnati in 1994. Clara (Wollman) Pietz, 87 November 10, 1917 - January 5, 2005 Funeral services for Clara (Wollman) Pietz were held January 8 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial was made at Graceland Park Cemetery. Casketbearers were Andrew Pietz, Michael and Matthew Haller, Steve Haller and Alex Karras. Clara was born November 10, 1917, at Freeman, the daughter of Andrew and Justina (Kleinsasser) Wollman. She was raised at Freeman and graduated from Freeman High in 1936. She married Albert Pietz of Parkston on May 13, 1939. They moved to Sioux City in 1940. Both worked until their retirement in 1980. She died Wednesday, Jan. 5, at a Sioux City retirement home after a brief illness. She attained the age of 87 years. She is survived by her husband, Albert; a son, Ronald, and two daughters; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, C.J. Freeman. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers. Eleanor (Hafner) Hanson, 84 May 27, 1920 - February 24, 2005 Funeral services for Eleanor Hanson were held Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Garretson, with Father Anthony Imberi and Deacon Don Wagner officiating. Music was furnished by the congregation and Grant Hanson. Jolene Barber was the organist. Interment was made in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery with Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson, in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Grant Hanson, Eric Benson, Erin Tisdell, Valerie Hanson, Katie Benson, and Kelly Tisdell. Eleanor was born May 27, 1920, at Parkston to Frank and Mary (Hoffman) Hafner. She grew up near Parkston and attended country school near there. After her education, she worked on the family farm until moving to Beverly Hills, Calif., where she worked as a waitress for two years. She moved to Bryant, S.D., and worked in the dry cleaning business with her brother, Michael. She married Grant Hanson on August 12, 1949, in Bryant. They lived in Bryant until moving to Garretson in 1951. In Garretson, they operated the Garretson Bakery until 1970. Grant died December 20, 1971. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She died Thursday, Feb. 24, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, after a brief illness. She attained the age of 84 years. She is survived by a son, Norman Hanson and wife, LuAnn, Wilmot; two daughters, Linda Hanson, Sioux Falls, and JoEllen Benson and husband, Tim, Garretson; five grandchildren; a brother, Ben Hafner and wife, Carol, Glencoe, Minn.; two sisters, Marge Maxwell and husband, Robert, and Mary Kuhn and husband, Bill, all of Parkston; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Francis Friedel; and five brothers, Paul, Frank Jr., Joseph, Al, and Michael. Goldie (Heil) Paul, 95 April 3, 1909 - Died: 2005 Funeral services for Goldie Paul were held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. Burial was made in the Tripp Cemetery. Goldie Magdalena Sylvia Heil Paul was born on April 3, 1909, at the Moneystock Farm in Wagner to Jacob and Anna (Schelske) Heil. She married Lloyd W. Paul of Odebolt, Iowa, on January 28, 1934, in Wagner. They farmed near Wagner until moving to Tripp in 1942. She attained the age of 95 years. She is survived by her son, Marvin and wife, Jan, Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Carmen (Jeff) Ross, Hot Springs, La Vern, Duane, Daniel Paul, Sioux Falls, Russell, Oklahoma City, Okla., Larry, Caddo Mills, Texas; three step-granddaughters, Andrae Thompson, Sioux Falls, Mrs. Paul (Denae) Baustian, Harrisburg, Mrs. Brad (Janina) Heiden, Sioux Falls; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and nine step great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, in 1988; and her sister, Amanda.
