The Dakota Pioneer Thursday, Jan 10, 1884 

We are in receipt of cards announcing the marriage of Miss Carrie P. Root, of Verona, Wis., and John B. Richards, of Frederick, Dakota., which occurred at the former place, on December 27th. The happy couple passed through this city the fore part of the week, on the way to Frederick, their future home. The PIONEER extends congratulations.
