Mr. and Mrs. Herman Haker returned from Aberdeen last week where their marriage took place the same day. The boys met the happy couple at the depot, and the orchestra got off several tunes on them before they could get past the freight which blocked the way. The gentleman stood treat, and the boys let him go without further music. [Bride: Elizabeth Denzin]

Arthur Lenling and Miss Emma Jensen went to Aberdeen Wednesday of last week and returned in the evening a married couple.

Thomas-Hoeffner
A wedding which will be of interest to a host of friends in this city will be that of Dr. H. W. Thomas of Aberdeen and Miss Marguerite Hoeffner, which will be celebrated on Thanksgiving day at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hoeffner, 1000 Fifth street north, Minneapolis. Miss Hoeffner is a prominent society girl of that city and has been showered with functions given in her honor for the past month. Miss Alma Hoeffner, sister of the prospective bride, will be her maid, and the best man will be Dr. H. E. Thomas of Ellendale, N. D. Many out-of-town guests will be present at the wedding, including relatives of Dr. Thomas in this city and Ellendale.

Miller-Herman
A wedding of considerable importance took place at Stratford yesterday when Lee Miller and Miss Eva Herman were united. The home of the bride was the scene of much gaiety, a big supper and dance being part of the festivities, an orchestra from this city being present.
