FRANCIS ANDERSON DEAD
Warner Pioneer Passes Away in Wisconsin — Funeral at Warner
John Anderson of the sheriff’s office late yesterday received a telegram informing him of the death of his father at Park Falls, Wis., of cancer of the stomach, at the age of about 68 years. The remains are expected to arrive in Aberdeen tonight or tomorrow morning and the funeral will take place Thursday morning at 11 o’clock at Warner.
Francis Anderson was one of the pioneers of Brown county, having settled in Warner in 1881, where he continued to live until about five years ago when he went to Bottineau, N.D., and had been engaged in farming there. He had been suffering from a stomach trouble for some time and it was while visiting his son, Will at Park Falls that his ailment was found to be cancer of the stomach, and it was soon proved fatal.
The deceased was a much-respected citizen and many friends in Warner will join with the relatives in mourning his death. He leaves one daughter and three sons, Mrs. Chet Newark of Warner, John Anderson of Aberdeen, Will Anderson of Park Falls and Don Anderson of Bottineau.
