Mrs. Ed Borwell of Conde, well known to early settlers near the Brown-Spink county line, passed away at her home in the town mentioned Monday night. The deceased was the mother of the well known M. & St. L. brakeman, Harry Sunderland, and her daughter, Mrs. Dick Halliday, was for many years postmistress in Conde.
The Sunderlands were early settlers in northern Spink county. The postoffice of Boeotia was located at their home. After the death of her first husband, the lady was married to a man by the name of Barnes and a few years ago to Ed Borwell, a prominent Spink county man.
