DEATH OF A PIONEER
Charles H. Church, the bonanza farmer of Cambria township, whose permanent home is at Owatonna, Minn., died suddenly at his residence on the farm at 5 o’clock Friday evening of heart failure. Mr. Church had been ailing for some time, but was not ill enough to take to his bed. He was born in 1828 and was, therefore, 67 years of age when he died. Mr. Church was a large property owner, a skilled farmer, a pioneer settler, and an enterprising, energetic and honorable member of society. His loss will be severely felt.
Saturday evening the remains were sent to Owatonna, Minn., for burial, accompanied by a son of the deceased, Fred Church, who arrived Thursday morning.
