JOHN DUNCAN DIES
Pioneer of Brown County Passes Away at St. Luke’s
John Duncan of Rondell, aged 75 years, a pioneer of Brown county and a veteran of the Civil War, died at St. Luke’s hospital Sunday night at 8 o’clock following an operation. Mr. Duncan came to Brown county thirty years ago, settling in Rondell township and had resided there since. He was well known throughout the county, and the news of his death will be received with sorrow by a large number of people. Mrs. Duncan died some time ago.
Five children survive the deceased. They are Mrs. A. J. Tiffany, wife of the Rev. A. J. Tiffany, Sunday school missionary of Aberdeen, Mrs. Isabel Willis of Richmond, William and Robert Duncan of Thermopolis, Wyo., and Mrs. Agnes Wheelock of Kampeska, S.D.
