Mrs. Lovina C. Eschbach Passes Away - The Funeral Arrangements.

The death of Mrs. Lovina C. Eschbach, wife of Charles J. Eschbach of Aberdeen township, occurred last evening, February 25th, at 5:15 o’clock. She had been sick for three months of necrosis of the liver, and much of the time suffered greatly.

Funeral services will be held at the residence at 12:30 p.m. on Monday next, and will be conducted in the German language by Rev. G. J. Keller, pastor of the German Evangelical church.

At 2 p.m. on Monday services will also be held in the M. E. Church in Aberdeen with Rev. Dr. Swickard in charge. The remains will be buried in Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Eschbach was born in Seneca county, N. Y., December 10, 1830, and was therefore a little over 67 years of age. She was married to Mr. Eschbach on June 23, 1852, at Lockport, N. Y. Seven children were born to them— four sons and three daughters, two of whom, however, died in infancy. One son, Charles, and two daughters, Mrs. Allerton and Mrs. H. H. Baker, who reside near Aberdeen, were with their mother when she passed away.

In the year 1882 and from Greenville, Mich., the Eschbachs moved to Brown county and have ever since resided on their farm north of Aberdeen. While a resident of Lockport N. Y., Mrs. Eschbach was a member of the German Methodist church. She was a Christian and died confident of a glorious resurrection and life in the hereafter.
