MRS. T. W. FELLER
Groton Herald: Mrs. T. W. Feller of Scotland [sic- twp name difficult to read] township succumbed to influenza at her home Thursday night, March 13. She was sick but a few days, the disease taking a malignant form almost at once.
Mrs. Feller was a young woman, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Allen. She was united in marriage to Thurlow W. Feller about eight years ago and the first years of their married life were spent in Colorado. About two years ago they returned to South Dakota, and have since made their home on the Allen homestead in Scotland township.
She leaves a husband and four little children, two boys and two girls, to mourn her loss. The four children are all down with the influenza and at this writing have not been told of their mother’s death. She was a loving mother and a kind neighbor and her death will be a shock to many friends and an irreparable loss to her family.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. and will be private. A public memorial service will probably be held later.
