LONG LIFE COMES TO END
Mrs. Robert Foster, South Dakota Pioneer, Passes Away
A long life in South Dakota came to a peaceful end Monday forenoon when Mrs. Robert Foster passed away at her home in Rondell township. Death came upon her birthday when she had attained the age of 81 years having been born in Beaver county, Penn., in 1832.
She was married May 14, 185?, and the couple moved out to Wisconsin in 1875 and seven years later pushed on into the farther west. They took up a homestead in Rondell and that has been home ever since.
Mr. Foster with five children survive as follows: The husband and five children survive the deceased. The children are: Mrs. Edward Mathieu of Stratford, Mrs. J. W. Love of Italista, British Columbia; Mrs. H. J. Giesen of this city; Robert M. Foster of Devils Lake, N. D., and W. R. Foster of Stratford.
The funeral takes place Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Presbyterian church in Stratford and the interment will be at Rondell.
