Death of Mrs. Alice Harris

Mrs. Alice Harris died last evening in this city at the home of her son, John Harris, after an illness of three months. The deceased was about 87 years of age, and had made her home with her son here for about eight months, having come here from Chicago. Her former home was at Randolph, Wis., and her remains will be taken to that place for burial by the side of the body of her husband, who died about three years ago.

Besides John Harris two other children survive her, both daughters. On of these is Mrs. Sarah Williams of Chicago, the other Mrs. Martha Carson of Pipestone, Minn. Brief funeral services will be conducted this evening at 7 o’clock by Rev. Dr. N. A. Swickard at the residence of John Harris, and the body will be taken to Randolph on this evening’s Milwaukee train.
