Mr. Henchell. was born in Prussia in 1815 and came to the United States in 1857, and to Dakota in 1882 where he has since resided. He was 82 years and 11 months of age, and the cause of death was old age.
The funeral service was held in the village of Warner on Sunday, Rev. Mr. Keller of Aberdeen conducted the services, assisted by Rev. Bromaghim of Warner. His remains were laid to rest in the Warner cemetery and were followed by a large concourse of friends.
He leaves a companion who has shared years of happiness and extended comfort in times of sorrow, to wait alone but a short time, when they shall be united in happiness that will never end. Other relatives left to mourn his loss are Mrs. Rose Schnorr, daughter, and two sons, Henry and George.
The entire community extends their sympathy in this time of affliction, and the relatives ask us in their behalf to return their heartfelt thanks to all who rendered them assistance. Their kindness will ever be remembered.
