He leaves five children, viz: William, of this city; Daniel, who is register of the United States land office at Circle City, Alaska; Lorenzo, of Diamond City, Mont.; Ira, of Nebraska, and a daughter, Mrs. C. C. Brown, residing at Hebron, Wis. A short funeral service was held Thursday evening at the home of his son, William McCann, Rev. Dr. Nathan A. Swickard officiating.

The remains were taken to Rome, Wis., for burial by the side of his wife. The funeral services there will be held on Sunday.
