DIES OF CONSUMPTION
Mrs. C. C. Mott Passes Away at Father’s Residence.

At the residence of her father, W. N. O’Neill, Mrs. C. C. Mott, died Thursday morning of consumption, after a lingering illness and gradual decline, since last November. At that time she caught cold and being of a delicate constitution, gradually grew worse until her physician pronounced her disease, consumption.

Her husband, Carl C. Mott, took her to California and Arizona in the hope that she would recover in that climate, but no improvement became manifest, so at Mrs. Mott’s wish, she was brought back to her father’s house. Since returning she has gradually failed until Thursday morning, about 8:30, when the end came.

Mrs. Mott was formerly Miss Elizabeth R. O’Neill. She was born in Canada, but spent most of her life in Aberdeen. Her death is doubly sad in that it occurred exactly one year from her wedding day and also in the exact room where the vows were performed.

The deceased has a host of friends in this city who deeply mourn her death and who extend their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved husband and father.
