FUNERAL OF MRS. O’NEILL
Bowdle Pioneer; Mrs. Wm. O’Neill of Aberdeen, who for the past month has been visiting with her father-in-law, Wm. O’Neill, Sr., of this place, died from that dreadful disease consumption on last Monday night. She had many friends and was loved by all who knew her. Her death was very sudden. Five children are by her death robbed of their best friend.
The bereaved husband of the deceased arrived on Tuesday morning’s train from Aberdeen to take charge of the remains and make preparation for the funeral; the blow was indeed a severe one upon him. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. E. Thomas at the home of Wm. O’Neill, Sr., Wednesday afternoon, after which the remains were brought to the Bowdle cemetery for interment.
