Warner, S. D.—Floyd, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Seaman, who had been suffering with appendicitis for almost a week, died last Friday morning. Sisters of Mr. and Mrs. Seaman, respectively, arrived and attended the funeral of the little one, which was held in the church last Sunday, Rev. Mr. Bromaghim officiating.
The remains were interred in the cemetery west of town. An unusually large number of friends and neighbors gathered at the M. E. church on Sunday to show their strong sympathy for Mr. and Mrs. Seaman in the loss of their dear little one. The singing was very appropriate and the sermon by Rev. Bromaghim was especially comforting. He spoke of the pure brief life of little Lloyd and said that life need not necessarily be four score and ten to accomplish the work God intended it to do.
The pure white casket was almost hidden by beautiful hothouse flowers, most of them brought from Chicago by the Misses Seaman [sisters to Mr. Seaman] who came Sunday morning.
