Henry Voss
Henry Voss died at his home here Sunday morning, after a hard siege of typhoid fever. The funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. C. C. Todd of Aberdeen.
The remains were taken to Langdon, Mo., the old home of the Voss family, and were accompanied by his brother, Herman. The Voss family moved here about two years ago from Nebraska and bought the W. J. Stephens farm, adjoining Mansfield.
Henry was successful in drawing a claim at the time of the land drawing at Aberdeen and had been living on it for the past few months. He was very well liked, both here and at Eagle Butte, where his claim is, and will be missed at both places.
He is survived by his father, mother, two brothers and three sisters, who were here to attend the funeral services. The friend and neighbors extend their warmest sympathy to the family in their trouble.
