FUNERAL OF MRS. WARE

Held at Her Late Residence on South Fourth Street Yesterday

The funeral of Mattie Turner Ware, wife of Bert Ware of this city, was held at her late residence on South Fourth street yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. The service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Taylor, pastor of the Methodist church, and was very largely attended. A large number of Odd Fellows of which organization the husband of the deceased is a member, attended in a body. The floral tributes were beautiful and many were given by the members of the lodge and a large number of friends.

Mrs. Ware was born in Fayette county, Iowa, on December 6, 1871. She had lived in Aberdeen with her husband, who is a carpenter, about two years and during her short residence here had made many friends.

Announced in a previous issue of the News, she died at the hospital last Thursday of nervous prostration caused by the death of her young daughter early in the month. Previous to the death of her child she had been perfectly well. The death of Mrs. Ware, following so closely that of her daughter, is very sad, and Mr. Ware and the four children which survive have the deepest sympathy of many friends. Mr. Ware will remain in this city with his family.
