Aberdeen Weekly News Thursday, Sep 27, 1900 

Paul Amley, one of the oldest residents near Warner, died at his home Friday afternoon. Mr. Amley had been incapacitated for work for a number of years, caused by a stroke of paralysis. He was a little over 82 years of age at the time of his death. 

Several children survive him, among them being Miss Clara Amley, Miss Camilla Amley and Henry T. Amley of this place, Mrs. Clark Shepard and P. T. Amley of Aberdeen, Mrs. McGlynn of Ellendale, and E. P. Amley of Ipswich. The funeral was held from the residence on Sunday afternoon and was attended by a large concourse of friends and neighbors. Interment took place in the Warner cemetery, Rev. Bromaghim officiating.
