J. E. Moore, residing on the Melgaard road south of the city, died this noon at the family home of Bright’s disease, following an illness of the past five months. Death was probably hastened by the death on July 26 of his son, Ora Moore, who was drowned in the pond on the Culbert farm south of the city. Since that time he has failed rapidly until the end.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock at the home, Rev. O. W. Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Riverside. Deceased was born in Iowa in 1862, and for a number of years preceding his moving to Aberdeen two years ago, he lived with his family at Straubville, N. D. He is survived by his wife and six children: J. C. Moore, and J. P. Moore in Canada, Mrs. Salva of Straubville, Grant, Ross and Ethel at home.
