[Rondell, S.D]. — The sudden and unexpected death of Mrs. Hugh Neill, which occurred on Friday morning, calls forth the sympathies and regrets of the entire neighborhood. Apparently she had been enjoying unusually good health, and, in fact, told a member of the family on the evening before her death that she had never felt better in her life. But before morning she was seized with an attack of inflammation of the bowels and although medical aid was summoned it arrived only in time to find life extinct.
Mrs. Neill has made, during her short residence among us, many warm hearted friends on account of her Christian-like ways and generous disposition toward her neighbors. She was nearly 57 years of age and has resided in Dakota two years. The funeral services were held in the Forkner school house last Monday, The Rev. J. N. Culbertson officiating. The attendance of relatives and sympathizing friends was large, notwithstanding the inclemency of the weather.
The remains were interred in Oakwood cemetery.
