Leander Peavy 

After a comparatively brief illness Leander Peavy died yesterday afternoon at his home. Mr. Peavy had resided in Aberdeen six years, coming here with his family from Bathgate, N. D., where he had lived for twenty-one years. He was the proprietor of the Peavy livery barn and was a man respected by all who knew him. 

Besides a widow he leaves behind five sons; Louis Peavy of Minneapolis, Leon L. Peavy of Egeland, N. D., C. W. Peavy, Lloyd Peavy and Wilfred Peavy, all of Aberdeen and three daughters; Mrs. H. Graudy of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Ray Hugger of Aberdeen and mrs. E. M. Cory of Fargo, N. D. He also leaves three brothers, Joseph of Tekoa, Wash., Charles of Spokane, Wash, and William of Redwood Falls, Mnin., and two sisters, Mrs. L. M. Finch who lives in the state of Washington, and Mrs. F. O. Finch of Henry, S.D. 

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the residence, 117 South Third street, and will be in charge of the Masons.
