Will Bernard, a former resident of New Hope township and a son of Samuel Bernard of Warner, was killed on Sunday of this week at Tomahawk, Wis., being run over by a box car. At the time of his death he was employed as a brakeman on the Milwaukee road, a calling he had followed for five years past with headquarters at Babcock. He was 30 years of age.

The remains will arrive in Warner tomorrow morning and the funeral services will be held during the afternoon. At 1 o’clock the hearse will leave the residence of his brother-in-law, John Anderson, for the M. E. church, and will leave the church at 2 o’clock for the cemetery. The deceased was well liked in the south-western part of the county, where he was well known, and will be sincerely mourned.
