[W. B. Flick, 23 Jul 1847-17 Dec 1900, Warner Cemetery — Findagrave.com]
A telephone message was received Tuesday forenoon from Selby reporting the death at that place from a stroke of paralysis of William Flick of Warner township. The deceased was one of the pioneers of Warner township. He took land there in 1882, and had continuously lived upon the place until last fall, when he rented his farm and moved to Selby, where he engaged in business. He did not continue business long, but sold out to his partner and expected to return to Warner in a short time.
He leaves a wife and two children. The remains were brought to Aberdeen from Selby on Wednesday evening and on Tuesday morning were taken to Warner, where the funeral was to be held at 10 o’clock in the forenoon.
