Aberdeen Weekly News Thursday, Dec 12, 1895 

Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Catholic church for Frank Ignatius Lorber, a resident of Second avenue east, this city. The deceased passed away, after a lingering illness from pneumonia and other complaints, on Thursday evening, December 5th. He was born in Alsace, France, 78 years and 10 months ago, and came to the United States in 1874, and to Dakota in 1883. 

The children who survive him are Louis, of Motley, Minn.; Joseph of Ravinia township this county; Mary, of Aberdeen; and Alfonso, of France. The last services were conducted by Rev. Fr. Reiland and the burial took place in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
