1902 Thompson Appointment

John Thompson of Camp Crook, SD, was appointed Deputy County Surveyor for Butte County in 1902. His letter of appointment was signed by Henry E. Thompson (no relation), who held the office of Butte County Surveyor.
This letter of appointment was shared by Colleen and Willie Galbreth. They received copies of Mr. Thompson's various letters of appointment from their cousin and fellow John Thompson descendant, Charles B. Sykes, of Rome, NY.
