Former Registrar at State U. Dies
Grand Forks, N.D., Sept. 29 - (AP)
Mrs. H. E. French, wife of the dean of the school of medicine of the University of North Dakota, died today in a Grand Forks hospital. A former registrar at the University of South Dakota, Mrs. French came to Grand Forks from Vermillion, S.D., and had lived in Grand Forks 35 years.
She was a former regent of local and state chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include the widower, a daughter, Mary Margaret French of Grand Forks; a son, Bert Townsley French, New York City; and three brothers, J. B. Townsley of Vermillion, A. W. Townsley of Cincinnati, and Paul H. Townsley of the Hawaiian Islands. Funeral plans have not been completed. ———————————————
