FORMER TEACHER IN DAKOTA UNIVERSITY PASSES AWAY
Vermillion, S.D., Aug. 13.—Special:
S. S. Townsley, former educator at the university here, is dead in his home here after a lingering illness. Mr. Townsley, who was 76 years old, had been an invalid for several years.
Surviving him, besides a widow, are the following sons and daughters: J. B. Townsley, of the Dakota Republican, Vermillion; Mrs. H. E. French, Grand Forks, N. D.; Mrs. Frank Pink?? of Casa Grande ruins, Coolidge, Ariz.; and Arthur Townsley, Great Falls, Mont.; and Paul Townsley, Honolulu. A sister, Mrs. Rollie Gibson, St. James, Minn. also survives him.
