Sam Roggow Funeral Rites Held at Lucas

BURKE – Funeral services for Sam Roggow, 55, were Feb. 2, at the Lucas Baptist Church with the Rev. William R. Nollmann officiating.
Interment was in the Lucas Cemetery with the Clausen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Roggow was born March 14, 1911, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roggow at Lucas and died Jan. 29 at Lander, Wyo. On Nov. 15, 1938 he married Isabella Irish of Brocksburg, Neb., at Winner. They lived at Lucas, and in Nebraska before moving to Wyoming in 1960.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Melvin, Casper, Wyo., and Marvin, of Lander; one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Doris) Wenzel, Casper; his mother, of Lucas; four brothers: Woodrow, Emil and Lawrence, of Lucas, and Dan of Burke; two half-brothers, Robert and Ewalt, of Lucas; one sister, Mrs. Fred Mowery, Portland, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
