HALL
Marie Ruth Hall, four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis A. Hall of Redfield, S. D., passed away at the Maplewood Infirmary at Glasgow, Kentucky, on August 15, death following an illness of one week caused by bowel and kidney complications. She made a brave fight for life, not once during her entire sickness complaining of her plight.
Everything known to medical science was done, but to no avail. She was always of a cheerful disposition, and during her short stay on earth had made many friends.
The deceased was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Hall, who formerly lived at 1013 south First street here. The young girl, together with her parents, was enroute to Tampa, Florida, to make their future home, when the fatal sickness overtook the little girl.
Funeral services were held at the Redfield Methodist church on Thursday afternoon, August 20. The officiating pastors were, Rev. V. P. Mitchell of the Aberdeen Methodist Episcopal church and Rev. W. S. Shepherd of Redfield.
Interment was made at the Greenlawn cemetery near Redfield.
