Lucy was the second child and oldest daughter
of John Frippo and Lucy (Greybeard) Brown. Born near Park
Hill, Cherokee Indian Territory. Lucy married Alexander
Wills Crain on 26 Dec.1880 and had three children: Anna E.,
Allan Wills, and Ambrose.

Mrs. Lucy Crain, Seminole, died in Canton, SD on April 25th
at the age of 68 years.
Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery. Wewoka,
