Mads and Else Christensen

1. Mads Christian Christensen (my great- grandfather) Born: July 12^th, 1847, Harring Sogn, Denmark. Father, Christen Jensen Bodker.  Mother, Christiane Christiansdatter. Grandparents,  Jens Christensen Bodker and Sidsel Marie Neilsdatter.  Mads died 1917, at age 70 at Yankton, South Dakota.  He had a brother, Christen.

2.  Else Mikkelsdatter Christensen. (my great-grandmother) Born: April 6^th, 1849, Gersbei, Snedstad Parish. Father. Mikkel Christian Neilsen.  Mother: Maren Christensdatter. Grandparents: Christen Jacobsen (Skomager) and Maren Neilsdatter.  Mads and Else were married June 6^th, 1873, at Harring, Denmark. She died in 1991, at the age 92 at Baltic.

3.  Mads and Elsie Christensen's Children: Christiana; born May 12^th, 1875,and died October 20th , 1954; Maren; (Mary, my grandmother), born September 11^th, 1876, and died February 23^rd, 1979. Neils(Neis), born May 10th, 1878, and died January 11^th, 1959; Minnie, born September 29^th, 1879, and died August 10^th, 1969; Mathias, born March 13^th, 1882, and died November 13^th, 1951.
