Felton,
M.M. Camp Grant, Ill. Sept
7 1918
Dear folks and friends at home,
We arrived O.K. in spite of
bad luck. We fought our connections on the train
and made good all the way.
We are feeling fine and
having a good time. Just got in camp at 7:30 and
assigned our bunks. Haven't had any drill yet.
We have a fine camp and all the boys say we will
like it.
We wouldn't miss this great
opportunity for anything and we believe if the
U.S. sends a few more men like us, we are sure
to take Berlin.
Don't write until you find
out where we will be located, then we will let
you know our address.
Your truly,
M.M. Felton and Loyal E. Nelson
