Emil Wagaman
Sept. 8, 1945
Emil Wagaman, son of Mrs. Dan
Wagaman, who is in the service of Uncle Sam,
but was injured and is now at Bushnell
General Hospital at Brigham City, Utah. A
letter from him gives the following
information:
Dear
Mrs. Wagaman: Your son was operated on
the day after he wrote you and is getting
along very well. It is best that he stay
as they have the very best medical care in the
country here and you wouldn’t want him to have
to change doctors, they know his condition so
well here. R.C. nurse.
Dear
Mother: I have been a little bit under the
weather this week, but the doctors have fixed
me up now and I expect to be getting out of
here in a few months. It would be nice if you
could come and see for yourself and I would
surely like to see you.
The
doctors come to see me every day and the
nurses give us good care. I have a fairly good
appetite and they give us anything we want.
The
weather has turned cooler so we are more
comfortable. The Red Cros worked brought me
some lovely purple and white asters today.
They make the room so cheerful.
How
is everybody? Do write and tell me some news.
Tell Lily to go to school and work hard and be
a good girl. Let me know if you plan to come
here and then I can try to find a place for
you to stay.
