Kennebec will soon have two hotels with the nearly completed Hubbel Hotel. Oacoma experienced the worst fire in the town’s history  Friday night. Martin Bros. & Kenobbie’s store burned to the ground. Fire started by the lighting of the gas plant in the building. March 22, 1906     Gaz

John H. King of Huron, died April 4 at his home in Huron. He was once state’s attorney for Lyman county and helped develop Chamberlain after arriving in 1880. April 12, 1906  Gaz

Lyman County Veterans Association voted to make the organization permanent in Lyman County.   Sept. 13, 1906
