Captain Jack Grigsby Takes a Bride Today.

A quiet wedding was solemnized this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Langston, 832 South Dakota avenue, when their daughter, Miss Helene Langston became the bride of Captain Jack Grimsby. Dean Woodruff performed the Episcopal wedding ceremony. The announcement of this marriage will come as a surprise to the many friends of this young couple, as only the most intimate friends knew of the secret.

Captain Grigsley arrived home Thursday on a brief furlough and after the service this afternoon, departed at once with his bride for the South for a few days and then to Deming, N.M., where he is in camp.

Miss Langston has been a resident of Sioux Falls but a year, coming here from Neosho, Mo., with her parents. During that short time she has made a host of friends in Sioux Falls.

Captain Grigsley is a son of Mrs. M. Grigsby, 217 South Dakota avenue, and is a graduate of Washington high school. He is also a graduate of the law department of the state university and during his career in that school was universally popular with all.

When the call came for volunteers, he gave up his law practice in the city and enlisted with the South Dakota cavalry and last summer went to Deming, N.M., as captain of Troop B.
