A unique wedding took place at Sacred Heart hospital on Wednesday when Mr. John McFarland and Miss Delia Warner of this city were married.
The groom who is suffering from an attack of appendicitis has been successfully operated on since the wedding. Mr. McFarland was formerly engineer at the local plant of the Yankton Light, Heat and Power company, but more recently has been in the employ of the company at their Watertown plant.
Miss Warner is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Warner, old residents of this city.
