GRANT COLLINS
Capt. Earnest Stevens will officiate at final rites at the Miller Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday for Grant Collins, 85, of 1706 N. Sherman Ave., who died at a local hospital Tuesday. Mrs. Earnest Stevens will be vocalist.
Born in Marathon, Ia., Sept. 26, 1867, Mr. Collins came to Sioux Falls in 1928. He operated a grocery store here before retiring in 1933.
His wife, the former Jennie Darrow, whom he married in Canton on May 2, 1932, died in July, 1950.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Albert Nelson [sic Mrs. Albert Hansen], Alta, Ia.; two sons, Glen, Cherokee, Ia., and Arthur, who also resides in Iowa; and 15 grandchildren.

GRANT COLLINS.
Services with Capt. Earnest Stevens officiating, were held today at the Miller Funeral Home for Grant Collins, 85, of 1706 Sherman Ave.
Mr. Collins, retired grocery store operator who had lived here since 1928, died at a local hospital Tuesday. Pallbearers were Eugene Campbell, George Holbrook, Roy Kirbach, Lloyd Bock, Walter Kigins, and Harold Brewer. Interment was in Hills of Rest Memorial Park.
