Merle L. Potter Killed at Owatonna 

Word was received here today of the death this morning near Owatonna, Minn., of Merle L. Potter, 31, formerly of Sioux Falls but recently of Waseca, Minnesota, as the result of an automobile accident which occurred when the automobile in which he was riding with Jack Leuthold, 24, also of Waseca, struck a side-rail of a concrete bridge at Clinton Falls and both men were thrown through the windshield. Mr. Potter sustained a fractured skull. 

Mr. Potter had lived most of his life in Sioux Falls but recently moved to Waseca where he as been manager of the Berg 10-Cent store. He was 29 years old. He was born in Henning, Minn., and is survived by his wife and one son. 

He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Addie Potter, of Sioux Falls; a brother, Harold, also of Sioux Falls; and two sisters, Eleanor of Sioux Falls and Mattie, of Sioux City. The body will be brought to this city for services and burial. 

Miller Funeral Home will be in charge.
