The Meredith Family
Homesteaders in Early 1900s

The Meredith Family left Union Grove, Racine Co., Wisconsin in the early 1900s.

WalterW., born Februay, 1861
Sarah M., born October, 1858
Edith M., born January, 1883
Harry F., born September, 1884
George E., born September, 1884

They homesteaded and purchased additional land in
Perkins County, Sections 14, 23 and 24, Township 17 North,
Range 10 East, Black Hills Meridian.

It appears Edith passed away before 1912, as her deed
is made out to the Heirs of Edith Meredith, January 4, 1912

The family was back in Union Grove, Wisconsin, by 1917,
when both George and Harry registered for the draft
there and the family all appears in the 1920 census in Wisconsin.
