Buffalo Hall in rural Tulare

submitted by Errin Wilker

Here are a few contributions for the Spink SDGenWeb site. My 2nd great-grandparents, William & Anna (Fliehe) Roeber, homesteaded (near Tulare) in Spink County.Their son and my great-grandfather, Martin Roeber, took over the farm, and eventually passed it on to my grandparents, Forrest & Virginia (Roeber) Sires. They left South Dakota and returned to my grandpa's hometown in NE Iowa in 1970.

Below is a photo of Buffalo Hall in rural Tulare prior to it being moved to town in about 1984-85, along with a photo of it after it was converted to Buffalo Cafe. Both photos were taken in the 1980s by my grandma, Virginia (Roeber) Sires.

Errin also scanned a 1961 St. John's Church 70th Anniversary Booklet.
