CUPID SPRINGS SURPRISE HERE
Marie Hultgren and W. E. Heeren Are Married at Alcester, S.D.
A wedding which was a great surprise to the people of Akron and its vicinity was that of Marie Evelyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Hultgren, to Wesley Edward Heeren, both families being well known residents of Sioux Valley township, Union county, S.D.
The wedding took place at the Lutheran parsonage in Alcester, S.D., with Rev. D. J. Edward officiating on Wednesday, February 5, 1930. The bride was attended by her sister, Marion and the groom by Kenneth Hultgren, a brother of the bride. After the ceremony, a three course dinner was served to intimate relatives of the couple at the home of the bride’s parents.
After March 1, Mr. and Mrs. Heeren will reside on a farm six miles west of Akron, in Union county, S.D., which the groom has rented for the coming year. They have the congratulations and very best wishes of all who know them.
