Akron Register, January 13, 1910
MARRIED:
Fred E. King, of near Adaville, and Miss Edith Barber, formerly of this place, were married New Year's day, at high noon, in the M.E. parsonage at Elk Point, Rev. Green officiating. The happy event was witnessed the bride's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Barber, of Elk Point.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Z. P. Barber, of Compton, Cal., former residents here. She is a young woman of excellent qualities. For several years she has taught in the rural school of this vicinity, recently southeast of here, and has made a fine record in that service.
The groom is a respected and industrious farmer near Adaville, at which place they will remain. Their many friends in this locality unite in wishing them long happiness.
