DEATH CALLS IVAR HAYHOME.
Ivar Hayhome, 64, of Elk Point, who came here on Monday of last week to work in the First National Bank, was taken suddenly ill the following day and operated upon in a Sioux City hospital for perforated ulcer of the stomach, passed away at the hospital last Sunday.
He had been an Elk Point resident practically all his life. He was an employee and official of the Union County Bank there for 29 years and held a wide acquaintance. He was also chairman of the district war price and rationing board in Elk Point.
His wife, one sister and one brother survive. Funeral Services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at his home in Elk Point.
Burial was in the Cemetery there, under Masonic auspices.
