a complete inventory of the grave markers in
the cemetery. Any writings
on the gravestones were included on the
inventory as much as possible.
When two adults were on the same stone it
was assumed they were husband
and wife and their name was therefore
included under the spouse name as
a cross reference.

The Bethany Lutheran Cemetery lies 33 feet
south and 33 feet east of the
Northwest corner of Section 11,Township
124N, Range 77W, 2 1/2 miles west
of Hwy 83 and Hwy 12 junction and 3 miles
north of Hwy 12 in Walworth
County, South Dakota in what was once
known as the Blue Blanket Township.
The Bethany Lutheran Church is on the west
side of the cemetery with a
gravel road on the west and north side.
The cemetery boundaries cover
236 feet by 316 feet.
