DIED.
SATORI — In Yankton, on Monday, October 31, 1892, John Satori, aged 46 years, 5 months, 22 days.
Mr. Satori died at 1 p.m. today after an illness that extended over eight weary weeks. For two years or more his health has steadily declined and the termination of his malady in death, has been anticipated for some months. But the knowledge that he was fatally ill, does not remove one bit of the sorrow, which prevails in his home and among his friends today. He had a wide acquaintance and this section and his friends thoroughly appreciated his kindness of heart and integrity of purpose. His death was painless coming while he was unconscious. His wife and son and George Baumann were with him in his last moments.
Mr. Satori is a native of Germany. In 1807, he emigrated from his native berth to Clayton county, Iowa, and in 1872 came to Yankton. In this city he has always been known as a progressive and loyal citizen and his taking off in the city’s affliction.
He is survived by a widow and three children, Mrs. Charles Guenther, Mrs. A.W. Patterson and Will Sartori. The funeral will occur at 10 o’clock on Wednesday forenoon under the auspices of Humboldt Lodge, I.O.O.F. of which Mr. Sartori was a charter member.
