ERNEST DARROW
Centerville, S.D.—Ernest C. Darrow, 84, Centerville, S.D., died Tuesday in Pioneer Memorial Hospital, Viborg.
Mr. Darrow was born July 25, 1901, in Lincoln County, where he grew up and attended school. Later, he worked for area farmers.
He married Edna Erickson May 29, 1924, in Parker. They made their home in the Centerville area and he worked as a building contractor until retirement in 1963.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Clyde, Janesville, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Olin (Blanche) Johnson, Vermillion; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a sister, Lulu Savery, Seattle, WA.
Service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in Wass Funeral Chapel, Centerville, with burial in Riverview Cemetery, Centerville. Visiting will begin at 11 a.m. today in the funeral home.
Family Note: Ernest C. Darrow was a son of Frank Cyrus Darrow, Sr. & Jennie (Millage) Darrow.
