OBITUARY
Frank C. Darrow

Funeral services were held for Frank Cyrus Darrow, Jr, 76, Wednesday, February 27, 1980, at Wass Funeral Home.  The Rev. Charles Allen officiated at the services.  Interment was in Riverview Cemetery.  Ritualistic burial rites were conducted by the Centerville Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Vernon Andersen was the soloist and Mrs. Milton Wass was the organist.

Casket bearers were Omer Kohn, Art Lien, Jon Bjordal, Richard Lindvall, Maxwell Carlson, and James Peterson.

Frank C. Darrow was born September 28, 1903, in Lincoln county, South Dakota, the son of Frank and Jennie Millage Darrow and died February 24, 1980.

In 1911 Frank moved with his parents to Centerville, S.D. He received his education in the Centerville area schools, worked in a grocery store and operated an auto salvage until his retirement. For the past several years he has been a resident of Morningside Manor in Alcester, S.D. Frank was a member of Centerville Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows and served for many years on the Centerville Fire Department.

He is survived by one brother, Ernest of Centerville, S.D., one sister, Mrs. John (Lulu) Savery of Seattle, Washington, and several nephews and nieces.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Family Note:
In his late teens and into his twenties, Frank worked for the local RR depot, Centerville, S.D.
Frank Cyrus Darrow, Jr. never married.  Frank died in a Hawarden, Iowa, hospital (Sioux County IA.)
